Mureka AI Questions, Answered
Credits, model versions, lyrics, downloads, licensing, and follow-up edits.
Is Mureka AI free to try?
Yes. A new account gets 25 credits once at sign-up, and one Mureka generation costs 20 credits for two songs, so those credits cover one generation before you pick a plan.
What is the difference between V9 and V9.5?
Both versions share one model menu and one form, so the same prompt or lyrics can run through each. V9 works on any account; V9.5 requires the Starter plan. Switching models keeps your input, so you compare takes without retyping.
How do I download a song, and what format do I get?
Downloads open on Starter, Pro, Unlimited, and active credit packs. Starter returns MP3 audio, cover art, lyrics as TXT, LRC, and SRT, and a license certificate. Pro, Unlimited, and active credit packs also return WAV. Paid access has no download cap.
Can I use my own lyrics?
Yes. Custom mode takes the lyrics you paste, a style description, and an optional title. Simple mode takes a song description of up to 3,000 characters. To fix a line, edit the lyrics and generate again; both takes stay in your history.
How long can a song be, and how many songs does one generation return?
One generation returns two songs, and one submission can carry up to 20 songs; credits scale with the number of songs. In custom mode you can set a length between 10 seconds and six minutes, or leave the length on auto.
Can I make an instrumental or choose the vocal?
Yes. Turn on instrumental for a track with no sung vocals, or keep vocals and ask for a male or female voice in custom mode. There is no voice cloning and no preset singer roster; the voice comes from the model.
Can I use the songs commercially?
Yes. Starter, Pro, Unlimited, and active credit packs include a commercial license for qualifying music already in your account, including songs made before paid access began. Free access alone grants no commercial rights. See the license page for the exact scope.
How is this different from using Mureka directly?
The models are the same Mureka V9 and V9.5; the account is ours, so there is no Mureka sign-up or login. Plans, credits, downloads, and the commercial license come from LumiMusic, and every result can be extended, remixed, or split in the same workspace. See the Mureka alternative page for the point-by-point comparison.
How do I change something after the song is generated?
Edit the lyrics or switch between V9 and V9.5, then generate again; the earlier take stays in your history. To build on a finished song, open its track menu: Extend continues it, Cover re-sings it, and Split Stems separates vocals from instruments.
